Pastor Rey has been serving at CrossLife since its inception in 2013. He is a graduate of Christian Life College in Mt. Prospect Illinois. He has a passion for discipleship and evangelism. He loves spending time with his wife Lymari, daughters Kiara, Janell and his son Darian. 

Dr. Akalonu has served as an Elder at CrossLife since 2016.  He comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge. He served as the Executive Director of the Urban Youth Alliance  Inc. for many years.  He has a pediatric  medical practice in the Bronx, NY. He is an avid golfer and a lover of the King James Version.

Andrew has served as an Elder at CrossLife since 2020.  He and his wife Beverly lead up CrossLife's prayer team. 

T.J arrived at CrossLife Church in the midst of a global pandemic in 2020. He has grown the worship team and has a caring, loving, and prayerful approach to worship ministry.  

Lymari has served as the Children's Director since the inception of CrossLife in 2013.  She is devoted to her CrossLife Kids and loves teaching and nurturing them as well as directing annual Christmas Cantata's. 

Desiree has served as the Youth Director since 2022. She and her family are active in worship ministry as well. Desiree joined the Deacon Board in January 2023. Desiree is a "hands on" servant of Jesus! You can find her leading worship, leading prayer and organizing church events.

Miguel has served as a Deacon and Treasurer of the Board since 2017.  He and his wife Gisela have played a vital role at CrossLife since arriving. Together they lead up a marriage ministry called "Marriage Matters". Miguel also teaches a financial class he created called "Money Matters". 

Miguel  has served as a Deacon and Secretary of the Board since 2023. He is a member of our worship team as well as a driving force of CrossLife's Community Outreach Team. 

Carl has served as a Deacon at CrossLife since 2022.  Since Carl and his wife Terri arrived at CrossLife Carl has always been willing to do behind the scene work in the church, especially when it comes to maintenance and upkeep of the building. Carl works in construction by day and is a loving husband, father and friend  day and night.

Jose has served as a Deacon at CrossLife since 2022.  Since his arrival at CrossLife he has  been involved with the daily operations of the church property. His experience as an FDNY firefighter and home inspector helps CrossLife with safety and operational procedures. Jose's family consist of wife Jahaira and daughters Abby and Rachel. 

Jay  has served as a Deacon at CrossLife since 2023.  She currently leads our Cleaning Ministry Team, as well as our weekly Coffee Connection. Along with Husband Jose, the Castro's help with the day to day operations of the ministry.
